    Make sure you’re getting 12v at the starter on battery cable (had a similar issue the lug wasn’t making good connection /corrosion). If that checks out can test the signal wire while somebody turns the key . Don’t just use a voltmeter verify with test light to prove it can handle the load ...

    When I dropped the pan this time I bought this new gasket. I’ve been using the Oem gm gaskets but they rip everytime on this trans for some reason! This was on sale $32 Amazon and it’s an excellent thick reusable gasket! Highly recommend it ! It’s about 3/16 thick very stout gasket!
