Hey all, I was looking at tires for my fathers 2009 Tahoe hybrid and came across a good deal. I currently run 265/65/18 Goodyear Wranglers on my 2012 Tahoe PPV. Back then, I had gotten them from Walmart for about 150 each. I've had these tires for the last couple of months and they've been...
I wasn't able to find a BCM wiring diagram. I found the trailer wiring underneath, and nothing looks spliced or corroded. I tested the reverse light socket harness and grounded it with the rear studs, and still no power on the driver's side and only 9 on the passenger side. I'm currently a...
I checked the fuse for the module, and it wasn't blown or corroded. I had swapped the harness from a 2014 Tahoe PPV to mine, and still the reverse lights wouldn't turn on. I looked at the grounds underneath the vehicle, and they looked in decent shape. I'm starting to believe that it is a BCM issue.
Where the center console would be, I found three wires labeled 6j4, 6j7 and wx7. There was a dark green wire spiced as well as a yellow wire. Would any of that affect it? They all are attached to connectors that would plug into something but i dont know what they would plug into. My silver 2014...
I checked and there didn't seem to be any issues with damaged wiring underneath the fuse box. The car is from the Ohio Highway Patrol, and they do salt the roads heavily here. Perhaps there could be some corrosion underneath where they go into the ground. I recently replaced the housing for the...
Hey all, I finally got around to taking a look at my reverse light harness this past weekend. I tested both sides with a multimeter and the drivers side had 0 volts coming through. I checked the passenger side and only 9 volts came out. I decided to take a look at the fuse for the reverse lights...
When I get the chance I will try using a voltmeter to test the voltage coming through. How hard is it to disconnect the auxiliary battery terminals? Is it as simple as removing some bolts?
Hi everyone, I have a 2012 Tahoe PPV with about 153k miles. Everything works fine on it except the reverse lights. I've checked the bulbs, and they look fine versus a burnt bulb. When I am in reverse the bulbs don't turn on and it's just the red lights. The only other things I have questions...
I will look into the DRL thing. Maybe Chevrolet might give me a package deal for all three. If it is too expensive for a dealer I might look into a third party to do it.
We have a fleet of Tahoe PPVs 2011,2012,2014. Just some quick questions that I have. If i were to buy an all-in-one led kit for headlights would the daytime running lights start working or would I still have to go to a dealer to get that fixed? I came across a 2017 front middle seat with a fold...
