voltage drop after 2 to 3 hrs of heat
I found only 1/2 in of insulation removed from the heavy red wire coming from the fuse box to the battery. Not enough! trimmed off another half in of insulation and shined up the wire and the + battery clamp. Greased the connection , tightened and reconnected to battery. The engine...- 2001tahoe2025

voltage drop after 2 to 3 hrs of heat
2001 Tahoe sat for abt a yr or 2 with voltage drop issue. I rewired the usual rear of engine block wire , made it heavier, Rewired a heavier wire to frame form Battery and added another to the alternator, It would still drop to 9volts and then stall after abt 2 hrs. You could see...- 2001tahoe2025
