    Coolant Refill After Flush

Thanks for the help everyone, I managed to refill the cooling system by pulling the upper radiator hose from the radiator end, then pouring coolant down the hose until coolant started coming out of the upper radiator host port. Reinstalled hose, took it for a 30 minute test drive and test never...

    Coolant Refill After Flush

I replaced the thermostat per the advice above. I've managed to get a gallon and a half in there, but looks like no more is going in via the reservoir. Turned on the truck hoping it would go down more,b but it hasn't. Both hoses are hot and lots of bubbles were coming out of the reservoir since...

    Coolant Refill After Flush

I flushed out my cooling system today since its never been changed since 2006 (about to hit 150K). Reattached all the hoses, got about half a gallon of Dexcool in the reservoir to refill and I can't seem to get any more coolant in there. Reservoir is full and if I turn on the car, the coolant...

    Question about Bose lux

Sharing what I did and what happened in case anyone else thinks of doing what I did. I retained my GMOS-904 and ASWC, only connections I cut on the radio harness were for the front and rear speakers, and the blue trigger cable for the amp. I installed components in all four doors and ran brand...

    Question about Bose lux

Hi everyone, I've searched the forum, but haven't found anything that really pertains to my situation. I have an 06 Yukon Denali XL. Currently have a Pioneer 8100NEX head unit using the factory Bose lux amp and speakers. The 8100 is installed with a GMOS and Axxess ASWC. I'm planning on...

    Question about Spyder HID retrofit

I figured it all out. I got my Morimoto Mini H1's in my OEM headlights. I bought a set of adapter plates and all is well. Looks factory and a million times better, almost made my original halogens look like the battery was dying. Thanks for the help everyone!

    Question about Spyder HID retrofit

I tried to take the front lens of the Spyder assembly. That thing isn't moving worth a darn. I first baked it at 200 for 10 minutes and it wouldn't budge. I then baked it for another 10 minutes at 250 and still wouldn't budge. Baked it at 275 for 10 minutes and all I was doing was destroying the...

    Question about Spyder HID retrofit

Hi all, I'm new to this forum and I have a question about retrofitting Morimoto projectors into Spyder headlights. I have a 2006 Yukon Denali XL. I bought a set of Spyder headlights and am in the process of retrofitting them with Moromoto projectors from The Retrofit Source. I bought the Spyder...

    Body control module?

The hack wiring job will cause issues like this, such in my case. In my case, it was a combination of a bad alarm installer and a radio adapter with a faulty 30 amp relay. Is your radio/overhead dvd aftermarket? If so, I'd say make 100% sure that the installation was done properly, a wacky...

    Body control module?

No one has responded, but I figured I'd share what's been done. Took the car to the dealer today for diagnosis. They told me it's a bad BCM. I bought a brand new BCM so they installed it and programmed it. All seemed well for about an hour, then the issues started up again. All lights lit on...

    Body control module?

Hi everyone, I have an 06 Yukon Denali XL with 97k miles. I'm having issues with the power inside my truck doing strange things. I was driving on the freeway and all of the dash lights came on. Only the tach and speedo worked, other gauges were dead. AC was stopped blowing cold air, my...
