"Thread jack: Hey sunlit can you post your 0-60 and 330 foot times from your 1.4mile slip for me pretty please?? :D" - Retorq

It was a scanguage II performance test so take it for what it is worth:

0-60 was 600ft 11.4sec 330ft was 8.0 seconds at 49mph.

Meanwhile what do others have have in numbers?

Feet/MPH-Time

200/42-6.0
300/48-7.6
330/49-8.0
400/52-9.0
500/56-10.2
600/60-11.4
660/61-12.0
700/63-12.6
800/66-13.6
900/70-14.6
1000/72-15.6
1100/75-16.4
1200/77-17.4
1330/79-18.2
1400/81-19.2

I do know somewhere between 2000-3000 rpm I have a bigger power gain then anywhere else in the rpm range. Will have to get to a chassis dyno for details.

Oops did not realize and unfortunately there was no 60 foot recorded. Like I said this is using a scangauge II unit.

My best 60ft was 2.45s, 6.75s was my fastest 300ft time ... the first time I ran the event the track was 330 ft the last time it was 300 ft ... I went faster, quicker in less distance which is the ultimate goal. :D

Well now that it is winter...ish, I went out for some runs just a little bit ago.
This is the average of 6 runs on Dynolicious on my iPhone 4s.

0-10 mph 0.90 sec
0-20 2.01
0-30 3.29
0-40 4.78
0-50 6.68
0-60 mph 9.04 sec
0-70 11.74
0-80 14.78

60' 2.73 sec @ 24.4 mph
330' 7.19 sec @ 51.1 mph
1/8th mi 10.91 sec @ 66.4 mph
1000' 14.08 sec @ 77.3 mph
1/4 mile 16.78 @ 83.5 mph

So with ambient at 103 degrees and stock fan I ran avg 17.53 sec @ 79.0 mph.
With todays ambient of 66 degrees and efans I ran avg 16.78 sec @ 83.5 mph. I knew this thing was running good in this cooler weather.

Maybe after a new TB and tune I will do better. Will have my tire size programming corrected too and retest. And hopefully will be near a drag strip soon.

Guess I'm not doing too bad for a stock TBI. ;)

Yeah I doubt that....
A stock TBI is rated at 210 hp.....the vortec is 255 hp I am guessing mine makes maybe 275 and I will dyno it soon.

Even if we are talking a 2 door TBI to a 4 door 4x4 vortec, it is only 400-500 lbs difference. My 93 TBI had 3.52 gears and my 99 has 3.73. I dont know if there were any gear options for the TBI trucks since compnine is no longer.
So I would love to run your truck and see what it has, because the numbers dont really add up for a "stock" TBI truck.

i know the feet numbering layout may look non standard but i goofed and wiped out the standard listed 60ft, 330 ft layout after i grabbed the raw data. sorry. but here is the raw data from last night.

ft-mph-seconds.
7-10-1.0
22-15-1.8
31-18-n/a
36-19-n/a
42-20-2.6
67-25-3.4
99-30-4.2
146-35-5.0
189-40-6.0
263-45-7.2
373-50-8.8
495-55-10.4
661-60-12.4
715-65-14.6

as before using scan gauge i have. outside temp was 91 at 53% humidity. I started on shoulder of freeway and climb a ridge of about 2 inches of asphalt to get in and open and empty lane within the first oh 30 -40 feet. elevation was at 593ft

this is after i did the ported tb a few days ago. my scanguage, speedo, tach, nav system and diag software has a maximum of .8% error between lowest and highest value of any given perimeter they have in common. that being said my diag software has a electronic dyno built in so when I have time to fine tune the perimeters to be measured and steup a mount for the laptop in the suv I will do some more runs and should have a spreadsheet that will have ft, mph, time, rpm, temps, gear, gps and who knows what else listed. the more perimeters i add the bigger the intervals between each measurement. this is likely the way i shall be given data out.

enjoy.

Well I definitely owe you guys a new sets of numbers. My fuel pump has been holding back on me and got really out of hand Saturday. A new Delphi unit was put in today and it feels like a JATO pack has been installed.

Gp, I officially have neck snapping now. All I can say is wow what a difference.
