As you all know, I'm in the market, close to pulling the trigger on either a Yukon Denali XL or an Escalade ESV.
I test drove a Yukon Denali XL yesterday evening. It was a 2013 with 72K miles on it. Straightaway I noticed something: the instrument cluster lighting was feeble.
I know that it's difficult to describe because it's subjective and when you don't have anything to compare it to, but the best I can describe it is "dim", even on full brightness.
Is this how all Yukon Denalis are by default? I can't imagine I'd be too happy with such dimness. It's so dim that the center console LCD basically drowns it out. Or do you think something was wrong with that particular truck?
Anyone want to post some night shots of their instrument clusters?
Thanks!
