Not worth the hassle, it has two coats of black/clear and three coats of clear over that......The contours of the lights would more than likely develop flat spots trying to get that all back off. Easier just to find somebody that is looking for a smoked set, or buy a set of LED and throw these on a shelf somewhere for a rainy day.
