I've been thinking lately about putting a stall in my Tahoe it's a 2003 with a 5.3 and I was wondering what everyone would recommend. It's my daily driver it has all the normal bolt ons, long tubes, corvette servo, cold air intake, black bear tune and came with 3:73 gears and I also have 20x12 wheels and 33" tires idk if I'd have to buy a stinger stall for bigger wheels and tires. So What would be a good stall for a daily with a stock trans besides a vette servo that I could live with everyday. I was think like a 3200 stall but idk which Stall to buy and who to buy it from

not sure a bigger stall would help without a cam upgrade. gears may more beneficial in your case.

Yeah I don't doubt you can get the jump with the stall, but add in 33" tires and it's a different story. What size tires u running?

Yeah that's a big difference in tire height from a 33 on 20x12 rims. I just went from a 285 50 20 to a 295 35 24 and it's about an inch difference in tire height and I noticed a need to change my gearing because of a dead spot in O/D. I run a cammed stalled 6ltr btw so I'm not short on power. OP can try the stall but I have a feeling he will want gears afterwards.

Yeah and I just ordered a set of Motive 4.30s for mine yesterday. Not so much for acceleration (it really doesnt need it) but for pulling the camaro and other stuff. I have a heavy foot and like to GO when I hit the pedal, even loaded. It flies unloaded but throw the car behind it and freeway on ramp accels take longer then i care for.

Please post up results. Just realized you were the one with the camaro. I'm considering 4.10s. 4.30 doest like much of a difference so I'm curious how the work out for ya.
