What Model is the SSV based on

First, I have found some great info on this site. So I will first thank everyone for the awesome information.
I have a couple Question.
1. I'm going to a full front suspension rebuild. I would like to keep everything at stock or close to stock. Any suggestion?
2. When searching for parts what base model should I search for the SSV?

The Chevy Tahoe SSV, it's an 'official' make/model, and parts stores know, it shows in there parts databases (some call it trim level).

I think you should be able to just use the LS trim for parts sources that don't have PPV or SSV, I've run across several myself.
