i use 10w-30 high mileage but the people i bought it from had got a new engine put in so the miles is around 75k on engine

If it's a 96 you can use what ever , dino based, synth, ... if it's a pre 96 with std non roller lifters you might want to stay with something with additives for that stuff still. I guess it's getting harder to find from what I read on other boards.

Mobil One synthetic is what has been used the entire life of my Yukon. It's racked up quite a few miles and still runs like a champ!

Go with something designed for high mileage. But if you have the dough then go with Synthetic.
