Looks like I need a new fuel pump for the '03 Yukon. Had the filter replaced recently, so I guess it must be the pump. I see a lot of pumps out there at a wide variety of prices. Is there a better quality or performance pump I should look at or just replace the stock pump?

Any brands to watch out for, etc?

Justin at BBP did a tune on my rig and it is leaning out at 5000 RPM's.
He said it is a mechanical issue as all looks great til it hits that 5K mark.

I MIGHT add a mild cam at some point, but really only plan to add some LT's and a good exhaust to go with an Airaid intake tube and stock modded airbox.

Will replace the pump and probably a filter again and flush the tank.
Anything else I need to look at?

Thanks!

on my 04 silverado SS (cam, heads, blower etc) I had good results with a walbro (however, that was in tank and also a return-less system).... I'd say get an appropriately sized recommendation from whoever is tuning your vehicle?

I thought I seen Delphi pump can handle much more flow than we all would need?

I understand that there are a very many part numbers of in-tank fuel pumps. It might be worth it to remove the one you have to match it to the new one.

A flex fuel pump, and bucket will be plug and play.
It will also handle quite abit more flow vs the oem pump.

A wally 250 or 340 are the next step ups.

I guess I'm out of the loop on the jargon! :emotions133:

Are you talking about a Delphi Flex Fuel replacement pump?

What's a bucket...?

I did figure out that the Delphi #FG0810 is the correct flex-fuel pump for my '03...

Thanks!
