I have not seen Doug around here lately.

Thanks. I checked after I posted that and saw that he hasn't logged in since February. Hopefully he'll drop by eventually, but either way I have several projects to get to before this would be on the top of the list.

Does anyone know which led lights these are that are used? Are the bulbs or regular led strip that you can cut to length?

Pretty sure it's the strip lighting that you can cut to length. Just make sure you get the waterproof type. I did the same thing with my truck, and it turned out great. I only added the lights under the hood, not by the firewall. I might go back and add it later, but it doesn't really need it

I don't have a part number, I think it was just an off the shelf rocker switch from Autozone or something. I installed it on the backside of the fuse box.

Wow didn't know this got bumped. But I have let Doug know about this and he will be on soon.

That's my SS but y'all are missing my Tahoe. Worked with factory older nbs like 01 or so I think, hood light. I had no switches just open hood and lights. It worked with the older mercury swith hood light
