I'm sure some of you have used these two products, but they are great for bonding plastics, the Plastaid can be used to make knobs, etc. It can be dyed, drilled and tapped too. I usually buy them either off Amazon or eBay. The liquid glue in the Q-Bond is the best I've ever used. Hope it was OK to post these here, wasn't where else to put them.

You really want to mix the Plastaid in a well ventilated area if you can. The liquid you mix it with is PVC cleaner.

The Plastaid is good for all sorts of projects around the house like small plumbing leaks. If you have a pool, it's awesome for patching cracked skimmers. The only con with it is the odor when you mix it. You can dye it, but I haven't tried that yet.

The Q-Bond is equally impressive, I used it to repair RC Car bodies, cracked interior trim, sunglasses, etc. The first time I used it was to reattach a broken vacuum nipple.

Duuuuuude! Thanks for sharing this! Earlier today, I was trying to think of ways to patch a hole in my crawfish table before the end of this month. Plast-Aid would be perfect! From a machining/fabrication standpoint, I can think of tons of other uses I'd find for it.

You're welcome. What is a crawfish table?

Just one of those plastic fold-up tables. Around here, they're affectionately known as "crawfish tables" because they're ideal for eating crawfish off of. Being plastic makes them easy to be cleaned and since they're usually stored until crawfish season, being foldable is another ideal feature. A piece of heavy angle iron fell over and cut the corner of mine. A hole will let the spicy seafood juices get inside the table and it'll stink, so I need a permanent patch for it.

If you ever decide to try crawfish, don't base your opinion on how they have them up north! I've heard of the horrible things they do to crawfish up there. Come get you some. You have two weeks.
I went to south Carolina once, we drove, and it was only to pick up my blazer and we came right back. I wish we could've stayed a little longer. We went to Clemson. My daughter went to college there. Hopefully one day we can go back and check out some southern food and local life.

I've never had them either, but I'd love to try them. I know what you're saying about having them up North. I didn't know what Clam Chowder was supposed to really taste like until I went to Boston, same thing goes with MD Crab Cakes. As I'm typing this, I'm watching Swamp People on TV, don't think I'd ever want to hunt gators

I heard gator meat has the consistency of chicken, but has a fishy taste to it. Some ugly mofos!
