Tires W/ 3in Body Lift?

Just got my 3in body lift on the 99 Yukon SLT!
Now its time to go tire shopping. My plans were to keep the stock 16in rim, due to being short on cash. Would a 35x12.50 fit..?
What is the tallest and widest tire I can fit on the stock rim?

the stock rim is a little narrow but i have seen 35x12.5 on them but i dont know if 35 will fit without rubbing with only a 3 inch body lift. You might think about 33inch tires but i am sure someone will chime in soon that will know for sure I am just guessing because i have a 6 inch lift w 33's but i can fit 35's
