stupid question about flex fuel

I have a 2003 tahoe that I never even questioned if it was flex fuel. Today I found the original window sticker that says it is flex fuel. Does that mean it will use e85. Also, if so how does that effect my performance.

Yes, it will use E85.

Gas mileage will go down, performance will go up.

Pretty Much. Also it should say flex fuel on the gas tank door as well.
