Electric fans take some load off the motor since it is currently belt driven and in return frees up a few exrta ponies.

As for cams, not sure. BB might be able to help. Have you contacted jennabear? She is on this site, she is black bear tuning.

E-fans will free up some hp because unlike the the belt-driven one they can be set to come on when when the need to be on, instead of just running all the time regardless of what temp you are at. I think it helps with mpgs as well, just dont know how much.

Electric fans allow quicker warm ups and cool downs, longer water pump life, less fan noise, improved air conditioner performance, improve gas mileage, more horses and possible some other things as well..

They look a shit load better if you ask me too! allowing more room in the engine compartment to work with. and im sure theres more you get the idea
