Should I get 35 or 50watt hids for my fogs from the retrofit source?

Hid nothing more than 25w. Bulbs sit too close to the lens and anything higher run the risk of melting. Trs sells a led direct replacement fog light that's is way better than hid or led bulbs

How bright are they? they list as a 24% as bright as their matching LED head lights

They are plenty bright. There other members who use them with night pics. My fogs however don't work well and that's because I have a Tbss bumper cover that blocks a lot of the light output

iv always heard that 35W is the highest you want to go. Anything higher at any space between lens and projector will melt the housing.

Also hasn't everyone on here been going with 35W I didn't even know they make less than 35W and if they did would that even be bright enough for low beams?

The xb led fogs are the best option. I've had eBay leds like the 2 stroke ones from retrofit source. They sent the light up and down with each side of the led. Blinded a ton of people.

Depends on quality of the company that makes it. I seen people use eBay 35w and still experienced melting fogs or discoloration
