Rubbing with 24s?

Hey fellas. Im looking into getting some 24s with a 305 tire. Im wondering how bad the rubbing will be and to what degree the offset will determine this.

Ive been lookin at some forums and it seems everyone has a different experience even with the same truck.

Had 07 Tahoe lowered 3/4 with cast wheels not sure the exact offset but were within the recommended offset for the year, and rubbed alot, I had to cut inner fender everywhere. Now I have a Escalade with multi-piece wheels with 3/4 drop and no rubbing go figure.
