Ride comfort on 24

For those with 24 .what's your opinon on the comfort on 24's?? Please post your tire size and brand as well. Got my eyes on some 24's just wanted input prior to pulling the plug .

P.s Does the words comfort and 24 inch rims even belong in the same sentence ?? Lol

Firm, but not ridiculous. On ****** roads I'd like more cushion but otherwise they are a huge improvement to the 22's. I've got Tony's 2/3/4 07+ cornering kit and they made a big difference in how the truck feels when driven aggressively and along with that when driven sluggishly over crappy roads it isn't as nice. Had the lowering kit for about 12k mi before adding the wheels. I will be going back to 22's for my snow tires, but wouldn't go any less than a 22 in anything with girth in the tread.

305/35/24 Nitto 420s - with around 500mi on them. Just updated the stock 285/45/22???

WAY better traction in ALL conditions. All doesn't not include snow as I will run dedicated snow tires living in MN.

I know comfort and 26" rims don't go together (especially after a 4/6 drop) but they sure look sweet. I would think 24's still have enough sidewall for a bit of comfort.

Personally, I think a 45 profile is perfect, gives enough cushion for crappy roads, but still a small enough sidewall for good handling. A 35 is pretty much a rubber band lol. Just my .02 cents

Lawd lol^^^. The 45 only come in a 325 wide tire for 24 inches .that's way to wide unless you like rubbing lol. I think 40 should be decent .

This is what a 285/40/24 on a 9.5 wide rim looks like. A decent amout of wall should be a decent ride. I'm thinking I might go with a 295/40/24 on a 10 rim. I should get the same amount of wall and a comfy ride.

305/35/24 will ride great. Don't go smaller then 35series. The 305/35/24 has like 4.5" of sidewall height.
