I just got everything buttoned back up last night and took it for a test drive. All seemed to be ok, but about 10 miles in I threw a CEL.

The code is P0340. Tried doing some research, and I am thinking that my issue is the distributor offset/retard. Haven't looked at anything yet.

Is there anything else that could cause this code?

Check the plug

A code P0340 could mean one or more of the following has happened:

* a wire or connector in the circuit could be grounded/shorted/broken
* the camshaft position sensor may have failed
* the PCM may have failed
* there exists an open circuit
* the crankshaft position sensor may have failed

Thanks. I figured out what the problem was. I am a dumbass! I forgot to hook up the electrical connector for the distributor when I installed it last night. After hooking up the connector, the code cleared immediately.

Now I have a new code. P1345, which is the distributor offset. Now I just need to find a tool that will allow me to see the data needed to correct the offset.
