Can anyone tell me what those once were? Sorry for the terrible picture -- I'll get more later if someone wants. The box and the wires are just to the right of the ebrake, and set back 4 - 6 inches.

Thanks!

Something/anything aftermarket... definitely not factory. Light bar switch... anything, who knows. Have you tried following the wires to the place of origin?

I thought that WAS the place of origin... I fear they are the wires left over from the factory radio, as one of the POs added a cheapy, aftermarket stereo.

Looks like stereo wires to me.
I would trace it as far as you can and get it out of your vehicle.

Please pardon the thread necro, but I eventually found out what those wires were: They are the remains of ebrake wiring. Whomever had one wired removed it in a hurry, simply cutting the wires and leaving a bit hanging. My mechanic figured it out and removed the few inches that PO had left. Hope this helps someone else.
