question on painting mirrors

do I paint the whole mirro or just half ?What looks the best or cleanest
I have a 2007 ls tahoe silver birch chrome 22" wheels and chrome door handles but im liking the paint look on mirrors and door handles but painting the mirrors not sure on the whole thing or just half thanks for the input

If you paint the entire mirror I would sand the plastic smooth for the best look......I like paint and chrome

I painted the whole mirror on my summit white 08 Tahoe and it looked GREAT. Chrome top and color matched lower would also look good. Or switch to escalade mirrors. All three are better then stock
