needed a quick fix to get the CHP off my back, will take them off soon, or get some naked lady chrome weights...

How much did the powder coat cost u dream? And did you just leave it on blocks until you got them back.

I had mine done in Oregon so that I could save on tax. Total cost was $300. As far as the truck I tossed it on some jack stands:

The funny thing is I sent that picture to my friends and told them my wheels got jacked, none of them noticed that it must have been by the nicest thieves ever as they used jack stands.

Total process took a weekend which i didn't mind as I was going turkey hunting with my cousin. My advice is don't rush the shop, if they want 3 days, give it to them, they will do a better job than when they are being rushed.

I hear that if you go to big-rig shops that do powder coating on the regular you can get them done for under $100 for the set. Just don't forget that most tire places will charge you to take the rubber off and put it back on.
