I know you can make a rectangle around the Emblem letters, Plastidip and then peel off the rectangle leaving the letters but has anyone used Plastidip to mask the letters?

I was thinking to mask the rectangle around the letters, then peel off the letters leaving the background Plastidipped, allowing the letters to then be painted and peel off the Plastidip masking?

Anyone tried it? Think it will work? Would you peel off the plastidip masking once the paint on the letters is dry or while still wet?

Thank you!

Yes, I used Hyperdip, which I think is a little better. Are you going with a custom color? Because Hyperdip comes in multiple colors and would be a lot easier. Since you talking about paint which is permanent I would remove the emblems, paint, and reinstall them.
