Hey guys and gals, so IV been hearing a ticking noise from my transfercase, sounds like there's a bearing shot or something, anyhow, my truck is a 99 "obs" Denali with auto 4x4, my question is, my buddy has an 01 "nbs" z71 silverado that he's gonna sell for a grand. If it's got the "auto" 4x4, would that transfercase swap right into my truck no problem?? I know the np246 was from 99-02 but that's at the tailend of one model and the beginning of another so I'm skeptical it would be a straightforward swap.
