My interior is the black/tan variety. Once I see what all is involved in the swap I may do this and I'll post up pics...

I have seen the lever when my dad removed the steering column out of his 08 Denali, and it had 1 big Torx holding it in. But I am not sure if you have to remove the whole column like he did. You might be able to remove the trim around the back of the steering wheel and access it there without having to pull the column out.

Looks cool! I probably have seen it and assumed it was "cocoa" before, I've hardly ever been inside a GMT900 with tan interior.

Thought I was missing something at first....My '11 Denali has the stitching on the back side of the gear select lever.

It was a pain to rewire. Not a pain to replace.
