My oil pressure gauge is pegged...is that bad?

So, update:

I have the new gauge tee-d off so I can keep the stock one active. Any issues with the stock sensor will be easy to fix since it is now more accessible.

Have to wire in the new one to the cabin but it does work so when I finish i will know what max pressure will be at higher rpm.

I found that drilling a hole near the throttle cable was a good place to put the wires through.

The larger harness others have used was too snug it seemed to get more wires through, at least reasonably with my skills.
