I've done a lot of searching on here about tire sizes for the '07 and need to replace all of mine tomorrow.

I bought a low mileage '07 Tahoe a few weeks ago and it currently has Eagle LS 2 P275/55R20 tires that are virtually new. I've had to get 6 patches within the past 2 weeks due to punctures and I have never had a flat in my life until recently. The first odd flat was caused by a beveled 1/4" flywheel key. Today, a 1/2"x5" wheel weight (which is rounded and made of lead) completely punctured my rear tire while driving over it at 15mph. After putting on the spare, I headed to the tire store for a replacement and ran over a "rolled up" bottle cap in the parking lot....which punctured another tire (I kid you not.) These tires are garbage if every day road debris will readily puncture them when other tires would simply bury the debris in the pavement. The tire shop said beware of gravel roads because they see these tires with flats due to sharp gravel all the time.

I will be ditching the foregoing tires and have found some good tire/wheel packages.

305/45/22 wheels with Nitto Terra Grapplers or 285/55/20 Nitto Terras. What are the drawbacks to running these? (rub, component wear, etc.) I need to make a decision quick but don't want any surprises after putting these things on.

Thanks

The 22s are the ones on the truck and the other is the 20" rim
