Loose door handle

My driver door handle is loose on one side of my 97 tahoe
It looks like a screw fell out

what is the best way to go about fixing it
i have the door panel off to fix the interior handle already

I havent really looked at it but i think if i leave the glass up i should be able to remove the steel plate and put a new one in

There is a bolt on the outside door jam above the latch and also one inside of the door. Mine had a crack in it and was broke which is a common problem so you might check that also. It's kinda of a pain in the butt if you have to replace the whole door handle. Not to bad.

its not that bad i just took out all 5 door handles to paint my truck theres a hole in the door so you can access the 10mm bolt inside the door the other is right in the jamb, while takin out my tailgate one it broke the damn plastic and my drivers door one was cracked so i just spent like 60$ for 2 ******* handles uhhhhh
