Interior Light Question

2002 Yukon XL

When you turn on your interior lights via the dash switch. do ALL the lights come on?

I thought mine did - but my 2 map lights up front do not come on with this switch - and now I dont remember if they ever did. They com eon if I push the button - no issue there....

I'm away from my truck but I believe the map lights only come on with the buttons.

in my 03 tahoe they come on with the switch / and or opening the doors. (02 yukon ONLY comes on if you push each switch next to the light)

I am wondering if this was something in the change of the electronics of the 02 - 03 - I wish I could remember if they came on before! lol

Okay, so I wan't going nuts!! LOL Just never noticed it before - Just another 02 - 03 change huh? If I get around to it I may do the mod you did.. thanks again!!

No problem at all, but remember to get 2 diodes, you will need them!
