I'm new to the tahoe life. I just bought a 2005 Tahoe LT from a friend this past Thursday and I'm having some small issues. 1 - while driving the ac will stop blowing cold. I will kill the engine while still rolling and restart it and the ac blows cold again. 2 - the rear ac is blowing warm while set to cold. Any ideas out there?

Sounds to me like a blend door actuator for the front (whichever side is the one that blows hot randomly but resets with ignition cycle)

The rear could again be a blend door failed completely or the thermal expansion valve in the rear hvac case is seized. That is if the system has its specified refrigerant charge.
