I look for restore oem intake air system in my 2001 Tahoe 5.3 LT (opt. K47 in RPO codes - High capacity air filter)
Car bought with K&N air kit 57-3023 (conic filter and duct) but I don't like this...
Someone have a same model and help me to choose the correct original air duct ?
I have a doubt between 15060999 and 15769060 air duct (or another one?)
many thanks for help

Lots of people probably have the original stuff just laying around you could pick up for cheap, just need to find what yours came with stock....though I'm sure multiple applications would work.

thanks for your answer :)

I'm afraid that the tube with the long resonator (GM 15060999) may interfere with the closing of the hood if it is not originally planned for my model...

this is a picture with GM 15060999

this is GM 15769060

does anyone know which is the right one?

Pretty sure my 6.0 in my 2004 had the bottom one....but I can double check when I get home. Either should fit any truck from 00-06.

My 2002 Burb came with the bottom one.

Why do you want to go back to the restrictive tube though? Get a smooth one for better performance.

My 2003 Denali 6.0 had the top one with the long resonator. Every Denali or Escalade that I have worked on also has the same tube.

I have the stock air box with an Airaid Jr. Kit.

When I did my research it seemed that the stock air box with a drop in filter and a less restrictive tube is the way to go. I liked the Airaid because it would heat soak like a metal tube. It didn't make a huge difference though.

Yep, I went and looked in the bushes and sure enough mine (6.0) was the top picture as well, my above guessing was incorrect!
