I bought 10 Gage wire is that okay to use?

I did it the other day and have no service do I need to ground it?

just did this today i layed the antenna down on the fender and tucked it under the rubber flap thing that runs the length of the fender. didnt notice any loss in reception but i always listen to sirius anyways

read back a few more posts and now im gonna try what 05nali did, i first just layed the antenna down along the fender and got nothin

ok did it the other way with the wire ran up the pilar, better.. but still not good reception. so im gonna put the ol' whip back on :sad:

The plastic cover up piece came today just pop it on, now we good!!

For those of you that ran a wore in the weather strip, what size nut did you use on the antenna mast to secure the wire?
