I thought that may have been the reason. Also, forgot to mention the rear bar has two sets of mounting holes. I mounted mine on the outside set of holes. Can make it stiffer if you use the inside holes.

Glad to hear the installation went smooth. That’s always makes life easier and definitely makes the whole “modding experience” a better one.

Good to hear your initial driving impressions too, glad you can feel a difference.

And as stated above. If the rear bar is adjustable I would definitely set it to the stiffest setting. Especially with how big and heavy our vehicles are.

Now that I've driven it for almost a week, I think I may go ahead and set it to the stiffer setting.

How well would these perform on a leveled Yukon? I see them mostly on lowered vehicles here on the forum and rarely on Leveled/Lifted.

I don't have any scientific data, but I'd be willing to bet these would be an improvement over stock on most applications unless you are doing alot of off road/rock crawling duty with your truck.

So I had an interesting experience with my Hotchkis front kit. I'm still scratching my head as to how it happened.

I installed the front kit weekend before last on my 2016 Yukon XL Denali and everything went well. Not my first exposure to this project or Hotchkis... had them on my former 2007 Suburban. I'm currently at stock height.

I received the rear kit this past weekend and decided to get it installed... again, easy install, etc. While under the vehicle I decided to give a quick check at the front I installed the previous weekend and that's when I was immediately caught off guard with what I saw. On the passenger side front only, the frame mounted bushing had started to tear like it was it was being pulled to the passenger side of the vehicle through the c-clamp and two of the end link bushings ( 1 on the sway bar and one on the control arm) were completely shredded. All after 6 days of driving around town. It almost looks like somethimg was binding on the passenger side.

I have no idea why this happened. Everything was lubed, torqued, etc.

Only thing i can think is there had to be something wrong with the bar possibly. I ordered from Amazon and the box appeard to have been opened previously and there was only one piece of protective foam in the box. One end of the bar was simply lying in the box freely. The bar still had the bag ****** on it and had not signs of wear and the bolts and bushings were in the unopened bags. I'm stumped.

Amazon is processing the return thankfully. I'm a little apprehensive to buy another and install at the moment.
