Has anyone looked into changing the wiring in their overhead console for homelink to only work when ignition is on? My vehicle is always parked outside and i hate not having homelink work, but the risk of someone breaking into my car to open the garage in the middle of the night does not sit right with me.
in my 2015 Denali 2500HD I was able to take down the overhead console and disconnect from constant to ignition as both were supplied up top.
Full disclosure, at this point i have not looked into the upfitter diagram to see if a "switched" wire exists up top or even taken it down to see what it looks like.
