i am thinking of getting 4500K hids but do you think i will get flashed alot and also will i not pass my inspection because of it.

Stick with 35w and aim them right and you'll probably be ok. Don't aim them, and yeah, you'll probably get flashed because you're blinding people.

No idea about inspection. They don't look at headlights here.

most inspection places just check to see if they work. most of the guys who do them dont speak english well or have any more education than my 3 yr old so its not as in depth as it should be...its more like "ooohhhhhhhh light werky" and its a pass.

ive had mine in my tundra for 2 years in Texas w/no issues, and once aimed right, no flashing. i got flashed with the stock bulbs more (although its a known fact the new body style tundra are aimed too high from the factory)
