change fuel filter do I just take it off will it leak gas? ?
What els could be causing this when the truck is warm and
I go to the store or whatever it will start and run fine.. I could
hear the fuel pump spray when key is turned so I don't think

the filter will leak a little fuel as well as the lines. not a heck of alot. just remove it and reinstall the new one. pretty straight up process. its on the drivers side inside chassis. i didnt even remove the bracket. just slid the old one out and new one in. when you go to start the truck the first time with the new filter let it prime a couple times since all the pressure will be removed from the system.

lol...all you need is 2 wrenches (5/8 & 3/4 iirc), plus a socket/ratchet (13mm?) for the filter mount. Depressurize the fuel lines from the schrader valve on the intake.
