Does anyone know the torque spec for the y pipe bolts coming off the exhaust manifold? They seem unusually torqued way past their limit. My brothers 1/2 impact could barely get the nuts off and one is still stuck. We even soaked it in PB blaster for an hour

It's not so much the torque when they were installed, it's the fact they've been heated up a few thousand times. Exhaust bolts tend to weld themselves together, especially the ones close to the engine. They usually break if they've been on a few years.

I'm ditching all my stupid band clamps for Marmon clamps. Don't have to crank them to the moon to get them to seal. Hand tight at most. I set my air impact on kill and still couldn't get a good seal from my band clamps. They probably are stuck like Red mentioned.
