Does anyone have any information about installing true dual exhaust on the 5.3L. Horsepower gains or losses, cost, etc?

Unless you plan on putting a high horsepower engine in the single exhaust is more than enough for a stock/ slightly modified engine. If you`re like me and like the dual tailpipe look just have them bent up at a shop. The cost of running a true dual setup vs the return on any gains will be small if any at all. I have a three inch pipe from the y pipe to the muffler and two and a half inch tailpipes and for what i`ve done to my engine it`s probably too big but it sounds great.

That's kinda what I was thinking. If there were any decent gains I think you would easily be able to purchase an aftermarket setup. Thanks Sasquatch
