Cruise Control Just started turning off by itself...

Driving home the other day, I stopped for gas. The cruise was working fine. When I got back on the road, cruise control engaged fine...for about 10 seconds. The light went out. I hit resume, and it would for another 10-30 seconds and then the same. Turned it off/on. No change.

Suggestions?

Bad brake switch. When you hit the brakes, it turns off cruise. If the switch is bad, it could cause it.
