I am wanting to change the color of my bulbs behind my dash gauges and hopefully all the other lights behind me dash and window/door lock buttons. How hard is this to do? Could i do it myself? Where would i order the bulbs from? If its a little complicated who could i get to do them? Sorry for all the questions really looking to change things up in the inside. thanks for any help in advance.

5mm leds get them from suggested seller in links above. For the 194's for the gauges I'd get these, much cheaper-
You'll need 6 of these total(3 sets)

And you'll need these too-

If it's too complicated for you, you can send your window switches and ac panels to Scottyboy, the man who did these write ups, and he can do them for a reasonable fee. He is very much recommended if you can't do it yourself. As for the gauges, you should be able to do those yourself.

And once again-

The cluster on a 2002 is very easy to do yourself. The AC panel is a 7 on a scale of 1-10 as far as difficulty. But that is also assuming you know how to solder. The cluster is the only thing that can be done without soldering. All other switches need to be custom soldered. And yes, I have done quite a few now for other forum members. Actually in the process of a set right now. Some people think my prices are expensive, but I think they are more than fair for not only all the work involved, but I also supply all the LEDs and resistors. I charge anywhere from $20 to $50 depending on which part it is. $50 being the most expensive, a cluster or AC panel.

Be careful, you have to pull the needles to get the gauge face off. I did this to change my gauge face and add a stepper motor for tranny temp. The problem I encountered was that on a couple gauges the motor shaft came out with the gauge needle. This is a problem, you can pull off the motor covers and try to re-mesh the motor shaft, but it doesn't really work well. I had to get new motors (6 for $24) and solder them in.

Resetting the needles is a finicky step also. I need to get back in there also, 1 or 2 of the gauge bulbs are out now. A little difficult to read my speedo at night now.

For 2000-2002, you just have to take the cluster out and twist to remove the bulbs on the backside of the gauges. No need to remove the face or needles.

soldered almost 100 leds in the tahoe couple months ago. resistors, leds, shrink tube solder etc for less than $60, all from ebay. no problems. The headlight switch was hard, a 10 from 1-10(put five in that box). Btw soldered my own 194 bulbs for the door and footwell light and solered leds into the dome lights. several days of soldering
