Hey all, I am going to pull the trigger on this unit and eliminate my DVD player. I am a noob with this stuff, I'll do engine stuff all day but I don't have experience with all of this. It seems like a lot of moving parts.

Anyway, it's this unit

My main use case would be I want wireless apple carplay on the front screen but I want to play external media to the other LCDs, through maybe a roku stick to the component cables at the back of the center console. That way my son can watch on the screens.

So I confirmed this works without dual zone on the kenwood.

I had to take it all out though because there’s an unbearable static noise through the speakers even when volume is off. Big time disappointment not sure if it’s the wiring or the head unit. I used all plug and play connectors so I didn’t cut and crimp anything myself.
