Hi all,

I'm looking at buying a used 04 Tahoe LT with the Autoride suspension on it and I had a question. When I start the vehicle I can hear the compressor kick in and the ride levels. My question is when I just it off, and only after I shut it off I can hear a hissing from the wheel well (more driver than passenger). Is the autoride just releasing air from the shocks or is this a bad thing.

It does have an ABS issue where the Service Stability and Service Tire Monitor lights are on and the TC disabled light is on, but the dealer is going to fix everything first.

Over all everything else looks good. Engine sounds nice, interior is in good condition, it has all the bells and whistles except a sunroof...

Any thought would be greatly appreciated.

wow. That's a way to get help.

Keep in mind not a lot of people have autioride - so maybe it will take some time to get a response.

This is the most welcoming group I have seen out there..

Oh...

Don't let the door hit ya in the A$$ on the way out.

Lol to the OP. It sometimes takes me a week to get an answer but its usually helpful and correct. Go pay a dealer to look at it then.
