The drivers side armrest pull handle plastic on the backside of the rubber is cracked, broken and some missing. GMC is telling me you have to order a whole new door panel for $400+. I can’t believe you can’t just replace the plastic or the armrest assembly. Can you replace just the arm rest or is it all one unit? Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, join the "you have a broken pull handle crowd and you are screwed" crowd. Sooner or later everyone will end up with a broken handle on these cheap junk plastic overpriced door panels. Almost every single Tahoe I had looked at including mine had at least one soft cruchy door pull handle.
I slipped some metal rods and thin plate in there and then used plastic epoxy to fill it in. Worked great, but it was a few hours of work.
