Yo!

She's many pounds heavier that's for sure! Dynamat'd the hood, firewall in the engine compartment, and front wheel wells and inside fender pieces. Engine is MUCH quieter and road noise is definitely noticeably reduced without even moving to the inside of the truck yet. I can't seem to justify yanking out the interior right now when I'm going to do a complete interior swap later this summer.

One minor and very easy to do mod I did over the weekend was a double rubber weather strip install on driver/pass doors to reduce air noise coming off the front pillars. These hoes dont have the front door tucked under the A-pillars like some luxury vehicles I've owned, so they are exposed to that constant wind noise. Over time your rubber wears thin too - you'd be surprised at the results I have gotten, will post how-to pics but it's very simple. All you need is an hour or so to burn hunting the right piece from a junkyard and cut it correctly.

(removed the spacers....don't need another wheel stud incident LOL)

Another random mod I did was remove the spring isolators as suggested by a certain someone :Handshake: Honestly - I measured about 1/4 inch drop conservatively, could be a slightly more. I ended up splicing a piece of a rubber hose off, then slicing off several strips which were half thickness of the hose, and wrapped them around the top of the spring with some 3M high temp adhesive to cut down on any squeaking and metal/metal contact wear. It was a serious pain in the ass and sticky as hell too :supergay:.

I would have said it's a all pain, no gain mod but I used this mod to also decrease the difference in height of the driver side versus the passenger side rear of the truck. I added more rubber on the driver side to lift it up a little since these trucks tend to be taller on the passgr side. I personally think it's because of the pull on acceleration driverside upwards, thus compressing and decompressing the body mounts. Who knows, if you figure it out let me know!

Thanks man, the running boards are from a custom set like they make for Lexus RX330.

Thanks for the props, I definitely enjoy the "clean looking" comments bc that's precisely the look I'm going for.

But here is a list of what I have so far, alot is changing though:
-Custom body color matched running boards (Lexus RX330 style)
-Clear Corners
-FlowPro true-dual exhaust with Corsa tips
-K&N full CAI
-BB Tune
-Level III transmission build with all the kicks
-Dynamat'd hood, fenders, doors, firewall, engine compartment
-Underside of the body Dynamat'd firewall to rear end (even under tranny)
-McGaughys 3/5 drop (spindles, keys, springs, Belltech Street Perf shocks)
-DJM Shock relocators
-Rear spring isolators removed for @ 1/4in drop
-LED tails/3rd brake light
-24x10 U2-35s (old rivet style) with 305/35/24
-Dual weather stripping on A-pillars (windy where I live, cuts down wind noise significantly)
-Removed OnStar internals - installed dash cubby
-Pioneer AVH-4000DVD Double-DIN (custom dash fit by JKMotorsports)
-JL Audio VR650-CSi Components (Front Doors)
-Kenwood 6.5 3-Way (Rear Doors)
-Pioneer 10in Subs powered by 1k Pioneer amp (can't remember model right now lol)
-Viper 5901 Alarm SST 2-Way
- - Remote Start System
- - Audio Glass Break Sensor
- - Digital Tilt Motion Sensor
- - Mini-Piezo Siren
- - Invisibeam® Field Disturbance Sensor
- - Backup Battery System/Siren
- - Window Automation System

That's it so far :rocking:
