Hey guys, I've been having issues with my 06 suburban w/ bose driver door speaker. I ran new 16 gauge wiring today and realized that the oem pigtail harness plug to the speaker is bad. Could someone give me advice on how to connect without the harness to the Bose speaker? Do you think I should solder on? My soldering isnt... the cleanest so worried about loss of quality. Wondering if i need to solder into the plug or is there a terminal on the outside i can use? Or do you think I could just use some of those connectors for aftermarket speakers and go to the 2 slots.

Sorry if the answer is obvious, new to speaker work and just want this done right. Been such a headache. Thanks!!

Just incase others ran into an issue with their OEM harness, here is what I did and works great. Nathan thanks for the tip on the spade, was the right way to go.

So I used my dremel do remove the plastic on the sides of the connector

Then just attach your normal female spade connectors and slide them on. Its a tight fit and they sit against each other (use fully insulated ones) and then add some tape just to make sure its in place. Sorry for the fuzzy pic
