i've done the free travel mod what he removed was the one on the axle...

After I wrote that, I looked at your truck and figured you'd done it and knew what it meant. But you didn't specify "on the axle" when you said

2. What this mod you did to get rid of the bump stop? any more details on this..

hey man looking good, and now you got me quite curious, two things that i have in my mind,

1. why did you get rid of the parking brake ?

2. What this mod you did to get rid of the bump stop? any more details on this..

Looking good man, what's your set back on

Gears, True-Trac, Yukon shafts ? and where did you get them from...

I got rid of the park brake because the cables themselves hung below the axle and were ziptied to my sway bar and they looked terrible and didn't want them to hook anything. Plus I didn't use it anyways so we took the whole foot pedal out and cleaned it up. There is lots more room now.

Yes as Nathan said it was the free travel mod that I did. We cut the bumpstop on the frame side off with a plasma cutter and while the axle was out getting geared we took off the axle side bumpstop so it cleaned the axle up and I won't have to worry about it hitting my frame since I took my rear puck out and lowered it more.

As far as the gears, bearings, true trac, axles I'm just under $1500. I ordered the gears, true trac and bearings from Drivetrain America. They had the best prices. And the axles I ordered off Summit Racing

And this is the suspension at full extend. There was enough room with just cutting the bumpstop off the frame now there is plenty of room without the axle bumpstop perch.

Got rear rotors and new front calipers the other day. Upgrading to GMT900 front calipers pads and rotors. Undercoated the front inner fenders and frame rails. Got StopTech SS front brake lines for the front. Also the next step will be installing Corbeau CR1 race seats along with a full roll cage.

Your LED dash has some Hot spots though Did you use the correct Beam angle for the LEDs?

Thanks, the dash has 5mm LEDs in it. And I'm not sure of the beam angle. The picture does make it look a little worse than it actually is but it does have hot spots ya. It was tough keeping the LED from the face of the cluster

If it doesn't bother you than I wouldn't worry about it but normally that is caused by a concentrated Beam angle I.E 45 degrees ect. the wider the beam angle the less hot spots just a FYI for the future , can't wait to see more progress tho

Ya I get what your saying. I didn't look to much before I bought them. They don't bother me I don't look down at it to much while I'm getting on it. I'm waiting for more parts to show up next week so hopefully next weekend it will be most of the way back together

Heres some more pics of the new front cailpers. The 07+ GMT900 setup has 13" front rotors and almost 1" more of surface touching on the brake pads. So it will be an upgrade all by itself but we are putting EBC 3GD slotted rotors and Yellow stuff 4000 kevlar pads on it.

Have to wait until next week for seat brackets but in the mean time we test fitted the seats. Race mode anyone?
