I just bought the 03 escalade 3rd mount light when I plug it up to my 01 Tahoe it doesn't lite up but when I hook it up to the battery all the light comes on fuse is good harness is good work with my other light do I need a escalade plug to make this work lost and need help

switch the wires around it will work... I had to plug it in the opposite way.

So if I just get the third break light from a Esky without the glass will it bolt up to my 2001 Tahoe Window

You will have to 3m double tape all around
