Are compressors for front only and w/rear AC different?

AC Compressors for Suburbans with front ac only and for vehicles w/front and rear ac look identical. Does anyone know if they are spec'd differently?

I think they are. When I was looking for an ac unit for my Tahoe I was always asked if it had both front and rear ac.
