Hey guys i'm new to the forum and i've been lurking a few days but i'm getting ready to make a few purchases for my 08 yukon sle and I was hoping to find a couple interior gurus to chime in on my problem. I just picked up this truck in its current condition last week so please don't shoot. lol

I will attach pictures so that what I describe here makes sense...

I have a hole in both my A/C evaporator housing (the plastic covering) and the panel that covers it. The hole causes massive water leakage onto my passenger floorboard so I was looking into replacing these parts.

For reference:

My questions are how bad is it to replace these parts? And, does anyone know if having a hole in the evap housing will cause intermittent A/C cooling issues since my ac isn't blowing as nice as is should but it isn't hot.
